A winter social event held up at Silver Star Mountain Resort.

JCI Vernon (aka the Vernon Jaycees) started giving away the Good Citizen of the Year Award in 1949. For a few years the Chamber of Commerce took the award over. After our chapter re-chartered in 1999 we took the responsibility back from the Chamber in 2003.

This is a Winter Carnival event that some of our members attend most years. It is held at the Vernon Lodge.
