Toast Masters 

Toast Masters is hosting an event at Okanagan College tomorrow evening. The event is a showcase of speakers. Apparently the speakers are excellent and very interesting. JCI Vernon is offering to cover the costs of 10 members who are interested in attending the event. Effective Speaking Program

The Effective Speaking Program is once again being offered to our local chapter members. The program is designed to provide members of local chapters the opportunity to develop their effective speaking skills. Through this program, you will gain the following skills:

-          Presentation Skills - nerves and presenting in public

-          How to prepare, formulate and write several types of speeches

-          Learn in depth an introduction, prepared formal and impromptu speeches

-          Confidence and increased self esteem

The Program will be offered over 2 - 4 hour sessions by one of our local trainers. If interested participants will be able to present these speeches at a chapter meeting and even go onto the Regional Conference in May.
