Lawn Days of Summer

The JCI Vernon Lawn Days of Summer delivered by BDO is a three-week lawn bowling tournament held at the Vernon Lawn Bowling Club in Polson Park. This event provides an informal networking event for young professionals, an opportunity to engage in the fun sport of lawn bowling and supports a local charity. Every year a different Charity of Choice is selected to partner in the event with JCI Vernon and is supported through event proceeds from team registrations and other fundraising endeavours. Since 2016, the event has raised over $15,000 for local charities.

For the 2022 event, JCI Vernon is partnering with the Archway Society for Domestic Peace. Archway Society for Domestic Peace provides a wide range of supportive services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence through safe shelter, counselling, child and youth advocacy, outreach services, and collaborative community projects. Formerly Vernon Women’s Transition House Society, Archway Society has deep roots in the North Okanagan.

The 2022 JCI Vernon Lawn Days of Summer delivered by BDO is scheduled for August 10, 17, and 24, 2022 at The Vernon Lawn Bowling Club.
