Projects
Our projects are diverse expressions of the passion of our membership. Check out what we have been doing in the community!
Each year, JCI Vernon recognizes an outstanding member of the community. This award is handed out to celebrate the accomplishments and successes of an individual who has gone above and beyond to make a difference.
The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.
We connected with the Vernon Winter Carnival and added a fun curling event to their two-week-long carnival. This curling tournament is great for all skill levels with 2 games and dinner included.
A three-week networking opportunity and lawn bowling tournament held at the Vernon Lawn Bowling Club in Polson Park.
The aim of the event, which takes place at the Vernon library, is to promote diversity, inclusion, and understanding within our community.
World Cleanup Day on 18 September 2021 will unite more than 20 million people in 180 countries. On that day volunteers and partners worldwide will come together again to rid our planet of trash – cleaning up litter and mismanaged waste from our beaches, rivers, forests, and streets.
